Description:
Primarily responsible for developing new business account s in the Labor Marketplace in the NY Metro area (NYC/NJ/CT). The Senior Sales Executive will leverage his/her established relationships within the Consultant and Broker Communities that serve the Labor and Public Sector markets.
The compensation package includes a base salary in the low $100Ks, with an uncapped commission plan. Top producers will earn a total income ranging in the $200,000 - $300,000 space. Expenses and benefits are also included.
Some of the responsibilities include:
* Accountable for meeting and exceeding individual sales and profitability goals
* Responsible for prospecting, developing and executing sales strategies that result in new business growth
* Develop comprehensive sales plan to generate new leads, contacts and business opportunities
* Cultivate strong broker, consultant, government and key Labor relationships
* Coordinates with pre-sale team all activity, including business analysis and evaluation, presentations, pre-sale follow-up, and contract negotiation
* Develop customized solution proposals crafted to address client needs
* Lead client presentations using the appropriate team resources to win the business
* Produce timely sales pipeline reporting
* Attend and provide value to sales management meetings
* Utilizes a lead tracking system to administer and monitor prospects, provides sales pipeline reporting
* Develop productive relationships with prospects and peers
* Develop marketing strategies, specific to assigned sales territory
* Identifies appropriate target prospects through proactive market research and cold calling
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred
* 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the areas of labor sales within the Group Health Industry
* Self-Funding experience of employee benefits
* Solid financial acumen
* Strong presentation and closing skills
* Excellent knowledge of sales process and disciplines for developing and executing account penetration
* Successful track record in group insurance sales, including Labor and Public Sector
* Excellent sales management skills: negotiation, public speaking and presentation skills, results orientation, entrepreneurial drive, commitment to innovation
* Excellent technical product knowledge
* Strong verbal and written communications
* Ability to work remotely and manage inside sales support resources
