  • Description:
    A leading Payment Accuracy Provider in the Healthcare (managed-care) industry is seeking an experienced Vice President, Account Management  to join its Sales Team. The Vice President is responsible for cultivating established relationships  with key decision makers (C-suites) in assigned client companies. Client companies are health plans, both commercial and government-sponsored.
    The position, which may include as much as 65% travel, is a remote-based one that will cover accounts located in the Eastern US and/or the Central US regions. The candidate can live anywhere within the assigned region, providing there is easy access to a major airport.
    Some of the Key Responsibilities include:
    ** Invests sufficient time to develop a deep understanding of the      client’s business strategy and critical business issues
     
    ** Proactively leads a joint company-strategic client planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones
    ** Create, manage, and execute the sales strategy, collaborating with internal team members (client services, project management, operations etc.)
    ** Demonstrates ability to manage and optimize the resources available within organization
    The position reports to the Senior Vice President, Client Engagement and pays a base salary that ranges from $125,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience). An aggressive commission plan, including residuals, and a bonus plan are in place.
    Total target income is expected to be in the $250,000 - $300,000 range. Expenses and benefits are also included.

  • Requirements:
    The ideal candidate for this position must have a Bachelor’s Degree, (MBA preferred), and a minimum of seven (7) years experience in high-level sales/business development selling into the MCO/Health Plans  marketplace. Call points in this industry will be primarily aimed at the clients’ Claims and Finance departments.
     The Vice President must also have experience in developing and delivering one- on- one and group presentations.
    The position calls for the Vice President to be both conceptual AND tactical in abilities.
    Strong market analytical skills and business acumen are essential, as is experience in closing deals at the senior management levels.  Excellent presentation and communications’ skills are key, as external and internal clients and vendors will be involved in the processes.
