  • Description:
    Industry leader in Managed Care Health/Employee Benefits has an immediate need for a highly-motivated Sales Executive to call on Employer Groups  (ranging in size from 3,000 - 5000+ lives/employees). This is an outstanding opportunity to maximize earnings by utilizing Health Benefits knowledge, prospecting, cold-calling, relationship-building, and sales abilities.
     
    The products/services that you will be selling include a cutting-edge and unique  plan that will offer client accounts a cost-effective option not previously available in the Commercial Group Health Benefits space.
     
    You will be selling primarily through brokers, consultants, and general agents, as well as directly to commercial accounts located in the New York City Metro area.
     
    The position offers a base salary ranging between $100,000 - $125,000 (depending upon experience)), and includes commissions (uncapped).  The total income potential should be in the high $100Ks – low $200Ks based on expected performance. Expenses and benefits are also included.

  • Requirements:
    The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of successful outside sales experience (documented) in any employee benefits sales position (broker or carrier) where territory development was called for. An essential parameter is prior experience and success in the Self-funded market. Necessary skills include: prospecting/identifying of potential accounts (telephone skills), cold-calling business owners and brokers/general agents, and excellent closing skills. Outstanding presentation skills to C-suite level executives and groups are essential.
     
    Due to the nature of this new product, the hired candidate will possess a high degree of sales creativity, as well as the ability to sell conceptually, instead of simply technically.
     
     A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) is required. However, compelling industry experience and success may permit a waiving of this requirement.
