    Rapidly Growing Player in the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Technology Services marketplace seeks Clinical Technology Pharmacist/Analyst to manage, direct and execute clinical analytics plans and initiatives. This position is responsible for enhance current capabilities and drive new product lines.
     
    The clients involved include Employer Groups (public-sector/government and private-sector), Labor & Union (Health/Welfare Funds), and Health Plans ranging in size from 1,000 – 5,000,000 lives.
    The compensation plan includes a salary, ranging from $100,000- $180,000 (d/o/e), plus bonus and benefits.

    The position is based either in the Company’s Corporate Offices, located in Milwaukee, WI, or its Regional Office in Chicago.

    This position could possibly be filled via a “virtual (home) office”, for the most compelling candidate. This option will result in a greater amount of travel, and therefore, is open to candidates who live in any major metropolitan area.

    Some of the expected job functions include:
    • Serve as clinical subject matter expert and liaison to the Technology and the Client Engagement/Sales teams
    • Develop and communicate clinical insight to key stakeholders
    • Review, analyze and provide clinical analysis to support internal business goals and advise clients
    • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy/medical trends within the healthcare setting
    • Assist in the development of new clinical pharmacy services product offering
    • Create, maintain, and enhance clinical data analytics

  • Requirements:
    The ideal candidate for this position has at least five to seven (5-7) years of documented Data Analytics experience in the Managed Care Industry, (with STRONG preference for the PBM market). Significant experience in client interfacing with Clients, Brokers, and Consultants is critical to achieving retention/growth success
     
    • Knowledge, experience and understanding of the PBM/Managed Care    Industry
    • Quick self-motivated learner who can initiate and drive new projects
    • Excellent communication skills (you will be responsible for presenting your work to both technical and non-technical audiences)
    • Thrive in a start-up environment with minimal oversight and lots of responsibility
    • Intellectual curiosity — the position requires novel research to keep client’s competitive edge
    • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
    • Strong experience in MS Access and/or MS Excel with a working knowledge of MS office
    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy
    • Passion for pharmacy and/or medical data
    • Model Development and/or pharmacy data analytics
    • Expertise in SQL, preferably in an Oracle environment
    • Experience with Hadoop HDFS, Hive, Pig, Impala, Spark, Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, SAS, Tableau or experience constructing data models is a plus  
    • Ability to travel.
