  • Description:
    Rapidly Growing Player in the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Technology Services marketplace seeks Director of Client Engagement to manage, direct and execute account management plans and initiatives. This position is responsible for enhancing current capabilities and driving new product lines.
     
    The clients involved include Employer Groups (public-sector/government and private-sector), Labor & Union (Health/Welfare Funds), and Health Plans ranging in size from 1,000 – 5,000,000 lives.
    The compensation plan includes a salary (open to negotiation), plus bonus, expenses and benefits.

    Ideally, this position will be domiciled in the Greater Milwaukee area (possible exception could be a Chicago-based candidate who is willing to commute to the Milwaukee-area 2-3 times weekly). However, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a significant shift in policy and now will permit qualified candidates to apply for this position on a remote-workplace basis.


    Some of the expected job functions include:
    • Manage the strategic and tactical client relationship, thus ensuring retention of clients and associated revenue
    • Assist with “in-house reports” including the evaluation of client utilization, trends and key findings within the pharmacy claim data
    • Manage the RFP/procurement and market-check process for assigned accounts.
    • Lead contract reviews and PBM contract negotiations
    • Manage the audit process for assigned accounts.

  • Requirements:
    The ideal candidate for this position must have at least five to seven (5-7) years of documented Account Management success in the PBM Industry, either working for a PBM provider or a National Consulting firm specializing in the PBM space. Significant experience in client interfacing with Brokers and Consultants is critical to achieving retention/growth success 

    A Bachelor's Degree is required. MBA is a major plus.

    • Strong experience developing and maintaining effective, collaborative working relationships with clients and internal partners to provide solutions to complex pharmacy benefit decisions
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills – a detailed and creative thinker
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to facilitate effective conversations both internally, and externally with clients
    • Ability to thrive in a start-up environment with minimal oversight and lots of responsibility
    • Competent with systems (CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to travel.
