  • Description:
    Rapidly Growing Player in the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) marketplace seeks an accomplished Director of Marketing to oversee development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans and program across all channels to support sales and revenue growth.
    .
     
    The clients involved include Self-funded Employer Groups (public-sector/government and private-sector), Labor & Union (Health/Welfare Funds), and Health Plans ranging in size from 1,000 – 50,000+ lives.
    The compensation plan includes a competitive salary, plus bonus, benefits and equity.

    This position will be ideally located “in-house” in the Company’s corporate office in NYC.  However, for the most-compelling candidate, who does not reside in the NYC Metro area, this role could be worked via a “virtual (home) office”, and therefore, is open to candidates who live in any major metropolitan area.

    Some of the expected job functions include:
    Work with Executive Team to define the brand, ensuring alignment with Company objectives, vision, and market positioning
    Oversee production, development, and promotion of all external communication and collateral, including print and digital media
    Ensure consistent and cohesive communication of Company value proposition
    Collaborate with internal experts to ensure data and analytics driven assessment of marketing plan performance
    Oversee market research efforts to optimize marketing plans
    Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance of marketing campaign(s)
    Develop and manage marketing budget
    Establish relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners
    Represent Company at key, strategic industry events
    Support general business needs, as required

  • Requirements:
    The ideal candidate for this position has at least seven to ten (7-10) years of documented Marketing success in the Healthcare Industry, (with STRONG preference for prior success in creating/completing Marketing Strategic Plans in market segments OUTSIDE of the Benefits market). Ironically, prior experience in the PBM space is NOT desirable.
     

     
    Key Qualities:
     
    • Undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree, with record of academic performance in fields of Marketing, Communications, etc.
    • Advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, etc. preferred but not required
    • 7-10 years of proven experience leading marketing campaigns, preferably in healthcare / health-tech
    • Excellent knowledge and understanding of B2B marketing concepts and principles
    • Ability to leverage data and analytics to make informed, evidence-based decisions
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to manage and lead a support team
    • Experience working with graphic / production as well as marketing analytics tools
    • Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easily
    • Attention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work product
