Rapidly-expanding player in Third Party Administrator (TPA) and Professional Employer Organization (PEO) marketplace has several openings for highly-motivated Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) to sell small/mid-sized Business Accounts (groups ranging in size from 10-2500 lives/employees). This is an outstanding opportunity to maximize earnings by utilizing prospecting, cold-calling, relationship-building, and sales abilities.
The products/services that you will be selling are related to Human Resources and employee benefits issues.
You will be selling to brokers and general agents, as well as directly to commercial accounts located in one of two specific regions: New York City; Connecticut .
The position offers a base salary ranging between $55,000 - $65,000 (depending upon experience) experience and success), and includes commissions (uncapped). Expenses and benefits are also included.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years of successful outside sales experience (documented) with a preference for employee benefits sales experience. Necessary skills include prospecting/identifying of potential accounts (telephone skills), cold-calling business owners and developing relationships with brokers/general agents. Excellent closing skills and outstanding presentation skills to C-suite level executives and groups are essential. Key to successful selling in this space is the ability to develop relationships with referral sources (brokers, consultants, and agents).
A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) is required. However, compelling industry experience and success may permit a waiving of this requirement.
