  The PHOENIX Health Search Group is representing an independent - nonprofit health system based in Western Colorado, with an  integrated network of physician practices, specialty centers and hospital, that seeks a Senior Development Officer.
   
  Client is seeking an experienced development professional to oversee and manage all aspects of major and planned giving to secure and grow the number of large gifts made through bequests, trusts, charitable annuities, and other planned-giving vehicles.  The Senior Development Officer partners with, and solicits, donors to realize their philanthropic ambitions, while advancing the objectives of the Foundation and strategic priorities of Hospital.  
   
  The position offers a base salary ($90,000 - $134,000 d/o/e), plus benefits. Relocation assistance, if required, is available.
   
  Some occasional overnight should be expected

  Requirements:
  The ideal candidate has excellent track record of working with philanthropically-minded donors looking for a mission to get behind. The Senior Development Officer is comfortable managing large donor portfolios and has superb networking skills.  He/she understands the role and importance of major gifts and planned-giving in a comprehensive fundraising program.
   
  A Bachelor’s Degree is required, as is a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of successful fund-raising experience in a non-profit setting.
