  Description:
  National Healthplan with products in Commercial/Medicare/Medicaid/Labor Unions is seeking an experienced Provider Relations/Network Manager to augment and maintain a Dental provider network throughout the New York City Metro area.
  Some of the expected duties and responsibilities include:
  • Provider Network Development Management (day to day field activities)
  •  Required  Internal  & Regulatory reporting (e.g., staff productivity , provider satisfaction &  access survey results and any required corrective action plans)
  • Physician contracting, including large groups/IPAs
  • Interfaces regularly with key internal departments, including Provider Data Management, Credentialing, Healthcare Management Services and Quality Management.
  Develops and expands physician, physician groups, IPAs and ancillary networks. Manages the servicing and contracting of providers with standard and custom contracts.
  The position pays a competitive base salary, commensurate with experience, plus bonus, and benefits.

  Requirements:
  This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree.
  It also calls for 5- 7 years’ experience in a managed healthcare setting, specifically in either Provider Relations or Network Management, or any combination of education/experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  -Provider contracting, provider relations, and provider servicing preferred
  -Proficient in MS Office: Word, Outlook, Excel
  -Knowledge of NY Metro Dental market preferred
