  • Description:
    Major player in Hospital/Reference Laboratory Equipment seeks a versatile  I/T Clinical Consultant (ITCC) in the South/Southeast US, to support/upsell  the company’s products to specific existing or prospective strategic accounts in this assigned geographical region.
     
    Position covers major accounts (hospitals/IDNs, and hospital systems, and reference labs) in Tennessee (Nashville/Memphis),southeastern Texas (Houston/Beaumont) and Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The ideal location for this territory is either Nashville or Houston. Compelling candidates who reside in MS, AR, or LA will also be considered.
     
    The ITCC will manage a defined sales territory to achieve sales and financial targets in accordance with the company's strategic goals. The ITCC will collaborate with a team of sales executives, plus clinical support personnel. The ITCC will participate in the creation of sales and financial goals for this territory, co-designing and ensuring implementation of sales plans to achieve these goals.  
     
    The ITCC is incentivized to increase the number of new accounts and drive revenue, while maintaining /servicing existing accounts. He/she is also encouraged to identify new Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the diagnostic laboratory space, and create business opportunities with them. This position is crucial in liaising the external Information Systems, Laboratory, and Financial Administrators with the Company’s internal stakeholders.
     
    The compensation package consists of a very competitive base salary ($130,000 - $140,000), plus commissions.   • Requirements:
    The ideal candidate for this position must have a Bachelor’s Degree, and at least five (5) years’ experience in selling medical capital equipment in the Diagnostic Core/Chemistry Laboratory and/or Clinical Reference Laboratory areas..

    Health Care Information Technology (HCIT) experience/knowledge is highly valued.
