    Industry leader in Managed Care Health/Employee Benefits has an opening for two highly-motivated Account Executives/Account Managers to call on Small Business (groups ranging in size from 2-50 lives/employees) Accounts. This is an outstanding opportunity to maximize earnings by utilizing prospecting, cold-calling, relationship-building, client-servicing, and sales abilities.
     
    The products/services that you will be selling are employee health benefits.
     
    You will be selling to brokers and general agents, as well as directly to commercial accounts located in both the Columbia (MO) and Springfield (MO) Metro areas.
     
    The position offers a competitive base salary (depending upon experience) experience and success), and includes commissions.  Expenses and benefits are also included.

  • Requirements:
    The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two to five (2-5) years of successful outside sales experience (documented) in any employee benefits sales position (broker or carrier) where territory development was called for. Necessary skills include prospecting/identifying of potential accounts (telephone skills), cold-calling business owners and brokers/general agents, and excellent closing skills.
     
     A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) is required. However, compelling industry experience and success may permit a waiving of this requirement.
     
     A Missouri State Life/Health Producers (Insurance) license is also required.
