  Description:
  One of the US’s Leading Players in the Group Health Benefits space is seeking a Director, Network Management, who is responsible for providing strategic leadership for provider engagement and contracting for an assigned state network, including local cost of care and trend management, provider contracting, implementation and local oversight of all types of payment- innovation programs.
   
  Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
   
  • Delivers competitive cost of care trends in assigned state.
   Develops provider networks that provide a competitive advantage. 
  • Aligns contracting strategy with medical management strategy.
   Serves as Provider Solutions local single point of accountability for all product lines and is the state lead for the Integrated Cost Management (ICM) committee. 
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
   Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. 
  
  The position is preferably based in the New York City area.    Relocation assistance is available.
  
  Travel is estimated to be occasional.
  
  The compensation plan includes a competitive salary, annual bonus and stock options. Benefits are also included.

  Requirements:
  The ideal candidate for this position has at least seven (7) to ten (10) years’ experience in healthcare operations, finance, underwriting, actuary, network development and/or sales.
  .
  A Bachelor's Degree is required. MBA preferred.
  
  Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to interface with and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and stakeholders.
  Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
