Description:
A leading California PACE provider that provides comprehensive home-based medical and social services to vulnerable seniors across California, seeks a successful Director of Sales and Outreach in the San Jose region.
The Director plays a key role in providing leadership, coaching, and support to the Outreach and Enrollment Team, and facilitates collaborative relationships across the Organization.
Some of the major duties and responsibilities of this professional include:
Meet gross and net census growth goals
Direct and coordinate all marketing, outreach, and community engagement activities
Direct and coordinate all intake and enrollment processes, including implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and conversion
Establish strategies and maintain relationships with referral sources, including senior housing, physician groups, hospitals, post-acute facilities, and community organizations within the market
Maintain working relationship with DHCS to ensure seamless enrollment workflow, adhere to timelines, and ensure compliance with DHCS and CMS guidelines and policies
Develop department budget and direct performance to budget
This position, based in the San Jose area, pays a competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus a potential bonus, and benefits.
Travel within the area is expected to be occasional.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree, and possess a minimum of five (5) years’ relevant management experience.
Other essential requirements include:
Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience with at least two (2) years in senior healthcare services growth/enrollment preferred
Strong knowledge and experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office
Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and oversee people and projects
Must be located in the Greater San Jose area as this role does require a lot of onsite and field support, or must be willing to relocate to the San Jose area
Health plan background; Medicare, Medicaid and/or Medi-Cal insurance
Healthcare Sales: Business to consumer background; outreach and community engagement, boots on the ground sales, engagement in community events (pop up events, activity events, etc.)
Management: Sales team; performance team; Metrics background; Sales success; Smaller team management preferred; heavy hands-on management role
